Sports club “Biathlon” from Novi Sad (Serbia) is non-governmental, non-profit sports organization which is founded by a group of enthusiasts on January 20th 2007.

Sports club “Biathlon” is founded with a purpose to satisfy needs of Novi Sad and Vojvodina citizens for cross-country skiing, sport shooting and biathlon (winter & summer) by using non-formal education methods in accordance with sport for all and sustainable development practices, with a goal to help psycho-physical development and implementation of a healthy lifestyle.

Since its founding, many sportsmen and sportswomen took part in Club’s activity and some of them achieved tremendous results at national and international level. Our Club is an organizer of several competitions in summer biathlon and target sprint at local and regional level, nevertheless our members also take part in organizing National and Balkan Championships, both in summer and winter.

Training is held regularly on a Novi Sad public areas, courts, ranges and quay.

Advanced athletes also train on Fruška Gora Mountain and on a small-bore range and have possibility to train at National skiing and biathlon centres in Sjenica and Zlatibor, so as at regional and international biathlon centers in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Austria, etc.
